Privacy Notice

1. Who I am

I'm Wen López, responsible for the site wenlopezn.com. For anything privacy-related, write to me at wen@bythelab.xyz.

2. What data I collect, and why

• Participatory wall. If you leave a mark, I store the name or handle and the link you write (both optional) plus the position of your mark. This data becomes public once approved (it passes through a moderation queue).
• Contact / agent. If you reach me through the site's agent, I store your name, email, and your project note, with your consent. I use it only to reply to you. It is not public.
• Technical data. To prevent spam and abuse, I temporarily process your IP address (submission rate limit). I don't store it permanently or link it to your identity.

3. Anti-bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)

To prevent spam on the wall I use Cloudflare Turnstile, which verifies that you're a person. Turnstile may collect data under Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Policy.

4. Who else processes your data

I work with providers that process data on my behalf, under their own policies:

• Supabase · data storage.
• Cloudflare · anti-bot protection (Turnstile).
• Vercel · site hosting.
• Upstash · submission rate limit (anti-abuse).
• ClickUp · contact management (CRM), if you leave your info in the agent.
• Resend · sending contact emails.

5. Cookies and analytics

I use analytics to understand what works on the site. PostHog and Vercel Analytics run without cookies: the data is anonymous and aggregated, and doesn't identify you. Google Analytics (GA4) does use cookies and only turns on if you accept the cookie notice; you can choose “Essentials only” to browse without that tracking, or change your choice anytime via “Manage cookies” below.

6. Your rights

You can request access, rectification, cancellation, or objection regarding your data (ARCO rights in Mexico; equivalent rights under the GDPR in Europe). Write to me at wen@bythelab.xyz and I respond within a reasonable time.

7. Retention

I keep data only as long as needed for the purposes described. Marks on the wall remain as long as the wall exists; contact data, for as long as our conversation lasts or until you ask me to delete it.

8. Minors

This site is not directed at minors, and it does not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

I may update this notice. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version.
